FUNDRAISER FOR BRAIN CANCER RESEARCH
PORT VERTICAL TASTING
Friday, January 9, 2009
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Wollersheim Winery - Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin
Taste vintages ranging from 2001 to 2007 of Wollersheim Winery's Port. Also featuring a "preview taste" of the not yet released (and very limited) Wollersheim Tawny Port 2004. A sampling of Ports from other regions will also be available to try. Additional evening highlights include: light food provided by Great Wolf Lodge of Wisconsin Dells, presented by Chef John Williams, live piano music played by Daniel Anderson with vocals by Katie Gaynor and a cheese selection provided by Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese.
Tickets cost $75, and can be purchased at Wollersheim Winery. Due to the limited number of older vintage bottles of Wollersheim Port, tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. A ticket to this special event would make a wonderful gift. 100% of each ticket sold will benefit Brain Cancer Research.

A break from Wisconsin’s winter! Join us as we celebrate the release of our Port wine. Take a behind the scenes look at the making of our Port. Sample the Port and other Wollersheim wines available for tasting and by the glass. Enjoy live jazz, light food and insights on Port from our winemaker.
No admission fee. Open to the public. 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Tour behind the scenes of our fermentation room, underground wine cellars and other production areas not usually open to the public. Grapevine pruning demonstrations, cooking with wine, and talks by our winemaker scheduled each day. Something for the whole family.
